Stillwell Research Group to participate in funded Center for Infrastructure Resilience in Cities as Livable Environments

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Grainger College of Engineering and Zhejiang University in Haining, China have collaboratively funded the new Center for Infrastructure Resilience in Cities as Livable Environments (CIRCLE) as part of a 5-year agreement between the universities. The CIRCLE research effort, led by Dr. Billie F. Spencer Jr., will focus on sustainable urban infrastructure through research thrusts on energy, water and environment, transportation, and built environment. The Stillwell Research Group is active in the energy and water and environment thrusts, and Dr. Stillwell is leading the energy thrust.
