Undergraduates Featured at Researchers Initiative Symposium

Two Stillwell Research Group undergraduates were featured at the annual Researchers Initiative Symposium.

Helen Sun presents her poster, “Determining the State of China’s Energy-for-Water Research”

Helen Sun, freshman in Civil and Environmental Engineering, presented her research poster, “Determining the State of China’s Energy-for-Water Research,” based on her work as a Researchers Initiative participant for spring 2019. Helen conducted a bibliometric analysis of energy-for-water publications  in China, finding that most research focuses on northern China and typically relies on secondary data and technical reports.

Allisa Hastie shares her experience in undergraduate research in a keynote address

Allisa Hastie, junior in Civil and Environmental Engineering, was honored as one of the keynote speakers at the Symposium. As an alumna of the Researchers Initiative program, Allisa spoke about her on-going undergraduate research work, leadership as an Undergraduate Research Ambassador with the Office of Undergraduate Research, and lessons learned along the way.
