Biography

Lauren Excell is an undergraduate student in the Energy-Water-Environment Sustainability program in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Along with her major, Lauren is also pursuing a minor in Technology and Management through the Hoeft Technology and Management Program. Her current research focuses on analyzing the availability and prevalence of data on the urban energy-water nexus through a critical review of existing literature. Outside of class, Lauren is a Lead Engineering Learning Advisor for ENG 100 (orientation class for freshmen) and is a member of the Chi Epsilon Honors Society and Chi Omega Sorority. She is addicted to espresso and the Great British Baking Show.
