Biography

Lesly Rodriguez Paredes is an M.S. student in the Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure Systems program in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Her research focuses on understanding human behavior in residential environments through smart metering data and non-intrusive data analytic techniques. This quantitative approach is paired with qualitative interviews to provide resident informed insights.

Lesly completed her B.S. in Environmental Engineering at Tufts University in 2025 with minors in Engineering Management and Environmental Science and Policy. As an undergraduate, Lesly conducted research at Tufts University on infrastructure system connections in Arctic contexts. She also conducted research at Stanford University through the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program on water security and affordability, particularly focusing on lower-income households. During her free time, Lesly enjoys running and yoga.
